I’m Sarah, wife to Brandon and mama to Maddy and Abby, our ginger beauties. I’m a former Special Education teacher, a job which I loved! I was then called to stay home as our family grew. I did not stay still for long. It was then that my extracurricular and volunteering really grew. I became involved in many ministries at our church and pretty much volunteered to do anything I was capable of doing.
My husband and I both graduated from Texas Tech. We love our Red Raiders! Brandon’s hobby is playing the drums for a local cover band. Our girls are cheerleaders in the fall for the local football team. As a family we love eating good food, playing games, finding new adventures to take, and hanging out with family and friends
I love Jesus, the Church, my family, and my abundance of friends! I love shopping, making things pretty, and I’m fairly good at organizing. I love coffee and cocktails. My favorite foods are Mexican, seafood and sushi!
My journey here as a doula came after probably years of feeling like I was made to do something other then what I was already doing. I searched and dreamed up all sorts of scenarios of what else I could do, at home businesses, other careers, degrees I should go back to school for, etc. Then one day a friend approached me with the idea of a postpartum doula. Honestly, I had no idea it was even a thing. I immediately started researching and reached out to the contact she gave me. I prayed about it for several weeks and fairly quickly all the steps started falling into place. When I look back at all of my jobs, interests and schooling since I was young they all have the same common factors: babies, families, and serving others. It only made perfect sense why this opportunity felt so right. I’m so excited to begin HayBaby Doula Services and hope I can serve you or someone you love!
